Shenzhen in the summer is always full of energy—the blazing sun reflects off the glass facades of skyscrapers, as if telling the story of a city that never stops innovating and striving forward. This summer, I was fortunate to join Shenzhen Kinghelm Electronics Co., Ltd. as an intern in the publicity department. As a philosophy undergraduate from Hunan Normal University, this internship not only gave me a direct view of how a company operates but also helped me grow in unexpected ways through the combination of theory and practice.

Kinghelm (www.kinghelm.net) is a high-tech enterprise specializing in antennas and connectors, well-regarded in the industry. From the first day, I was deeply impressed by the rigorous yet vibrant atmosphere here. The office was bright and well-organized, colleagues were busy but efficient, and everyone worked with passion.
As an intern in the publicity department, my main tasks were organizing documents, writing the “Product of the Day” articles, and improving the company’s website content. Although these seemed like basic tasks at first, they gradually helped me understand Kinghelm’s products, culture, and industry dynamics.
Document Management: The First Challenge
My early work focused on organizing company files. With Kinghelm’s wide product line and complex technical specifications, I initially found it overwhelming to handle the dense data and technical terms. Thanks to my colleagues’ patient guidance, I learned to efficiently categorize and extract key points.
This process sharpened my logical thinking and also revealed how philosophical training in abstraction and systematization can be valuable in real-world tasks. For instance, when summarizing technical documentation, I needed to distill the essence from detailed data—similar to how philosophy seeks to grasp the essence of ideas.
At Kinghelm, documentation management is highly structured. Every file undergoes strict review and archiving. This attention to detail made me realize that behind every efficient company are countless meticulous steps ensuring smooth operations.
Writing the “Product Highlight” Articles: A Fun Challenge
Ran Minghao’s Fun Workday: Writing the “Product Highlight” Articles
The most challenging yet rewarding task during my internship was writing the “Product Highligh” articles. Each day, I selected one product from Kinghelm’s catalog, explained its features, applications, and advantages in plain language, and then translated the article into English.
At first, my lack of knowledge in electronics made my writing stiff and overly technical. Under the guidance of Mr. Huang Dejun, manager of the publicity department, I gradually learned how to transform technical details into engaging content. Over time, I not only improved my writing skills but also developed a strong interest in antennas and connectors.
Kinghelm values the quality and impact of its publications—every article goes through careful review to ensure accuracy and brand consistency. These articles do more than share information; they embody Kinghelm and Slkor’s corporate culture of integrity, perseverance, precision, and attention to detail.
Refining Kinghelm’s Website
Kinghelm — Connecting the World
I also had the opportunity to help refine Kinghelm’s website. Each section, image, and line of text required careful thought and design. Through this, I learned how to approach content from a user’s perspective—making navigation clearer and product displays more intuitive.
Kinghelm’s website, with its clean and professional design, highlights the company’s values of professionalism, innovation, and reliability. Even small adjustments, such as icon placement or font choice, involved thorough discussions. This commitment to excellence left a deep impression on me, showing that whether in philosophy or business, the pursuit of excellence and continuous improvement is universal.
Learning from Leadership: Insights from Mr. Song Shiqiang

Kinghelm also impressed me with its strong learning-oriented culture. General Manager Mr. Song Shiqiang regularly organizes internal training and sharing sessions on topics ranging from technology and marketing to management, law, and psychology. I was fortunate to attend lectures on marketing and branding, which broadened my horizons and inspired me to think about my future career path.
Colleagues were equally supportive—always willing to share knowledge and help. Once, when I was struggling with a technical article, a senior colleague not only answered my questions patiently but also recommended useful reference books. This spirit of mutual learning made Kinghelm feel like more than just a workplace; it is also a platform for knowledge-sharing and growth.
Reflections: The Lasting Impact of My Internship

Looking back, my internship at Kinghelm gave me far more than just practical skills. I learned how to transform abstract philosophical thinking into problem-solving abilities, how to adapt quickly in a new field, and how teamwork and corporate culture drive success.
As General Manager Mr. Song often reminds us: “In life and in business, you must move step by step—do the things others avoid, take the orders others don’t want, endure the hardships others refuse. Only then will success belong to you.”
This philosophy of persistence, combined with Kinghelm’s commitment to innovation, quality, and customer value, left a lasting mark on me.
As a philosophy student, this internship was a chance to step out of books and into real-world practice. Philosophy taught me to seek the essence of the world; Kinghelm taught me how to turn ideas into action.
I am truly grateful to Kinghelm for providing me with this valuable opportunity. This experience will remain an unforgettable chapter in my life, one that will inspire me to keep learning, exploring, and growing in the future.
