The 9th Annual Conference of the Sichuan–Chongqing Tongxin Association 2025 Concludes Successfully

Under the theme “One Chip, One Heart — A Renewed Beginning,” the 9th Annual Conference of the Sichuan–Chongqing Tongxin Association 2025 concluded successfully. At the same time, the headquarters of Kinghelm (www.kinghelm.net) and Slkor (www.slkoric.com) welcomed a long-awaited and somewhat mysterious guest from the Sichuan–Chongqing electronics community — Mr. Huang Wei, Founder and General Manager of HenryTech (www.hltchips.com).

Born in 1980, Mr. Huang is a first-generation entrepreneur who rose from the grassroots. A true Sichuan Paoge at heart, his straightforward character, kindness, approachability, and optimism make him seem ever younger in spirit. Along this shared journey, members of the Sichuan–Chongqing Tongxin Association have always supported one another. More than 200 Sichuan–Chongqing electronics professionals working in Shenzhen — including Song Shiqiang of Kinghelm and Slkor, Wu Bo of LCSC, Jiang Xiangyang of Ruicai Electronics, and Yang Heng of Shangge Industrial — are fellow travelers and long-term partners on this path with Mr. Huang.

Mr. Huang Wei, Founder and General Manager of HenryTech

Mr. Huang Wei is a native of Meishan, Sichuan, and a close hometown friend of Ms. Wang Yawen, Founder and General Manager of Meiyijia Electronics, widely known in Huaqiangbei as the “Crab Sister.” Reflecting on his hometown, Mr. Huang shared:

“There is a saying in China: No Sichuan, no army. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, 3.4 million people from Sichuan went to the front lines to defend the nation. That sense of responsibility is deeply rooted in our blood. My grandfather fought in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, and my father served in the military for 12 years. Their patriotism constantly inspires me to carry forward this legacy — to serve others with an altruistic mindset and give back to society as much as possible.”

He also mentioned Mr. Song Yongshu, father of Kinghelm and Slkor General Manager Song Shiqiang, an old hero who was forcibly conscripted at a young age and sent to the Dahong Mountains in Hubei to resist the Japanese invasion.

Welcome to HenryTech! (www.hltchips.com)

Founded in 2015, HenryTech offers a broad portfolio of branded products, including LTCC/LC filters, power dividers, balun transformers, couplers, cable assemblies, broadband conical inductors, and microstrip power dividers, with more than 2,000 active models. Its products are widely applied across communications equipment, computer-related products, smart home systems, consumer electronics, automotive electronics, industrial control, medical devices, aerospace, new energy, and navigation industries.

Mr. Huang Wei Working in His Office

Mr. Huang explained that HenryTech’s headquarters is located in Chengdu, Sichuan, with offices in Hong Kong, Shenzhen Huaqiangbei, Beijing, and Nanjing, primarily providing pre-sales and after-sales technical consulting services.

Speaking about the brand philosophy, he noted:

“The name HenryTech represents long-term sustainability and altruistic business values. Only by doing business that benefits others can partnerships remain as solid as Mount Tai. My cousin Huang Gaofeng and I founded the company together. Over time, our focus shifted from simply making money to embracing altruism — achieving mutual success with suppliers and customers.”

He further explained the logo concept:

“The design is inspired by connection and continuity. It reflects unity, mutual support, and collaboration, while also symbolizing independence and openness — everyone standing together, yet each playing their own role.”

It is also worth noting that HenryTech’s headquarters is located at Huaxi Science & Innovation Center, No. 50 Shuxi Road, Jinniu District, Chengdu. When asked why HenryTech chose a science and innovation center rather than a traditional industrial park, Mr. Huang responded clearly:

“R&D innovation has always been our top priority. Talent is the primary driving force. The science and innovation center provides strong talent policies — including housing subsidies, relocation incentives, research funding, and comprehensive support such as talent apartments, education, and healthcare. These advantages help us attract and retain high-level talent and secure a leading position in future technological competition.”

A First-Generation Sichuan Entrepreneur: Mr. Huang Wei

Those who break through from the bottom often carry a unique brilliance. Known for his candid personality, Mr. Huang joked:

“At home, I’m a ‘henpecked husband’ — I cook, wash dishes, do laundry, and take care of all the chores. Respecting and listening to your wife is actually one of the strengths of Sichuan–Chongqing men.”

As a food enthusiast, he added:

“China eats everywhere, but flavor belongs to Sichuan. Chengdu’s skewers and Meishan’s Dongpo pork are must-try local specialties.”

As an electronics professional, Mr. Huang is meticulous in his work and exceptionally warm-hearted:

“My respect for others and approachability come from years of real-world experience. Whether communicating with partners or employees, I see my younger self in them. I don’t network for personal gain — I want to share what I’ve learned and help others grow.”

Reflecting on his entrepreneurial journey, Mr. Huang shared:

“I graduated from Xi’an University of Technology in 2002, majoring in automotive manufacturing. I began my career as a cavity filter process engineer. After eight years in the filter industry, I ran a grassroots, stall-style business from 2011 to 2015, providing white-label OEM services. In 2015, I officially launched the HenryTech brand. Today, we have more than 50 employees, including 30 in production and R&D — with 12 design engineers and 4 process engineers — and over 20 in market development. We now operate our own brand and factory.”

Mr. Huang emphasized that HenryTech (www.hltchips.com) and Kinghelm (www.kinghelm.net) are domestic technology manufacturers operating in different but highly complementary fields. HenryTech focuses on filters and clean signal processing, while Kinghelm specializes in antennas and connectors, providing critical connectivity solutions.

Both companies maintain strong control from raw materials to finished products and play key roles in China’s transition from domestic substitution to deeper import substitution, following a development path of imitation → innovation → advancement. Going forward, HenryTech will continue to collaborate with Kinghelm and Slkor (www.slkoric.com) in management innovation, product integration, digital marketing, and brand operations, contributing to the sustainable development of the electronics industry.

Mr. Huang Wei of HenryTech

Hard work builds entrepreneurship, and innovation drives progress. Mr. Huang concluded:

“Starting a business is difficult, but sustaining it is even harder. First, we must survive — then we must persist. I admire practitioners, pioneers, and trailblazers. Under the leadership of Mr. Song Shiqiang at Kinghelm and Slkor, HenryTech has followed, learned, and steadily caught up.”

He added:

“In recent years, my focus has been on brand building. Continuous experimentation is the only way forward. Digital marketing transformation is a key lever, and online media is an essential tool. Mr. Song’s achievements in this area are truly forward-looking and worth studying.”

“On behalf of HenryTech, I sincerely wish Kinghelm and Slkor every success on their IPO journey. United as brothers, we are stronger together. I also wish all our Sichuan–Chongqing compatriots continued success, prosperity, and lasting happiness.”
