International Tech News:

1. GlobalFoundries has acquired Advanced Micro Foundry (AMF), a Singapore-based chip manufacturer specializing in silicon photonics.

2. SK Hynix has reached an agreement with NVIDIA on the supply price and quantity of HBM4 (High Bandwidth Memory 4) for 2026.

3. Imec, a global leader in nano-electronics research and innovation, announced that GlobalFoundries has officially joined its Automotive Chip Program (ACP) as a foundry partner.

4. China’s Yangjie Electronic has begun mass production of IGBTs on 12-inch wafers and started shipments to the Japanese market.

1. On November 18, Xiamen Hengkang New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. was officially listed on the STAR Market; its opening price surged 287% and at one point rose more than 333% during trading.

3. Among digital chip design companies, OmniVision Group ranked first in Q3 revenue, reaching 7.827 billion yuan.

4. The localization rate of automotive-grade MLCCs in China has increased from 12% in 2020 to 22% in 2024, and is expected to exceed 30% by 2026.

5. All of the world’s top 10 open-source AI models currently come from China, with Chinese open-source models accounting for about 64% of the global market.

6. China has established a full-chain intelligent connected new energy vehicle ecosystem, and the penetration rate of new energy vehicles is expected to exceed 80% by 2040.
